Sumpter Fire Fighter fall, taken to hospital, found full of cancer

A 33-year veteran of the paid per call Sumpteer Township Fire Department, Ed Wisniewski recently fell and was taken to the hospital.
His daughter, Annette Birch of Westland, said they found two fractured vertebrae, and also found Stage 4 cancer throughout his body, including lymph nodes, livers, lungs, pancreas, bones and vertebrae.
Birch said she has put up a GoFundMe account on the internet to raise funds for a reclining lift chair and sleep number, adjustable bed to make her father more comfortable. She said the doctors said he has four months to live without radiation.
She said her father, age 65, is worrying about paying his bills.
