Sharon, Darryl Zilka celebrate 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 25

Sharon Taylor and Darryl Zilka were married at St. Aloysius Church in Romulus on Sept. 25, 1971 and have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
On Sept. 25, they had their Golden Anniversary blessed by Fr. John Dumas at the same church in which they were married.
The couple has two children, son Jeff (Marija) Zilka and daughter Stacie (John) Dolencic, with four children.
Daughter Stacie and Sharon’s sisters, Phyllis Taylor and Judy Taylor, put on a small gathering at the couple’s home to celebrate the special day.
