Sandhill Crane Wine Fund Raiser to earn money for FMAR

An event at Sandhill Crane Vineyard in Jackson from 11:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 12 will raise funds for Friends of Michigan Animals Rescue, based in Sumpter Township.
Cost is $50 per person (must be 21 or older) and tickets must be purchased by Nov. 5.
The event includes:
• A bus ride from two pick-up locations. On the bus, you can purchase a cup for $5 and have it filled with wine for the ride. The bus will arrive at the vineyard at 1 p.m. and depart at 3 p.m. The ticket price remains the same if you choose to drive yourself to the event.
• Buffet lunch: sandwiches (build your own), Michigan salad, Thai pasta salad, and warm fruit crisp.
• Wine Tasting: There will be a guided tasting of eight wines, then the bar will be open for all other wines to be tasted. See the complete list of wines at www.sandhillcranevineyards.com/our-wines/wine-list/
• Tour of the winemaking process.
Tickets are to be purchased on-line (use ticket link provided). When purchasing your tickets, make sure to indicate at which location you will get on the bus.
