U.S. Marshals are seeking a dangerous fugitive who recently struck in Van Buren Township, according to Channel 7 News that called Charles Narajo “Detroit’s Most Wanted.”
Naranjo started his criminal ways in 1988. He is a Colorado native where he had nine felony convictions including assault on a police officer. It is an attack on a man who owed him money in September 2016 that sent him fleeing to Van Buren Township to stay with a relative.
In VBT Naranjo reportedly broke into a neighbor’s house at night and at least one gun was pulled. Naranjo allegedly grabbed the gun and there was a tussle. Before VBT police could arrive, Naranjo was gone.
U.S. Marshals say Naranjo is 47 years old, 5’10”, 180 pounds, and considered armed and dangerous.
He’s wanted for kidnapping, burglary, aggravated assault, and robbery out of Adams County, CO. In VBT, he’s wanted for assault, home invasion, breaking and entering, and being a habitual offender.
