On July 6, the missing fire fighter from Belleville was identified as the pedestrian struck and killed by a train in Wood County, Ohio, last week.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office was on the scene of a pedestrian that was struck and killed by a train at 4:45 a.m. June 30 in Portage, Ohio.
The deceased was transported to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office and has been positively identified as Timothy Forrest Graves, 22, from Belleville. The Taylor, MI, Police Department reported Graves missing on June 28.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office found Graves’ Saturn at the rest stop in Bowling Green a few days after he was reported missing.
Graves was a paid-per-call firefighter in Belleville and was last seen leaving his place of employment after his shift ended about 10 p.m. June 28.
