The Belleville Area District Library has planned its Book Brigade to ceremoniously move the last few books from the old Fred C. Fischer Library to the new Belleville Area District Library at noon on Saturday, Feb. 29.
Library Director Mary Jo Suchy said the plan was to open the new library to the public after the last book is transferred, but that will be possible only if it has received it certificate of occupancy from the City of Belleville.
The Book Brigade will be made up of staff and volunteers and the public is invited to join in.
