Krystle Rose Bednark, life-long Sumpter Township resident and younger daughter of Sumpter Treasurer Kenneth Bednark and Kaye Lynnette Buchanan, has graduated with highest distinction from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and earned a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Management and Organizations. Additionally, Krystle is a Michigan Ross School of Business Leadership Academy Fellow and represented the School of Education as the flag bearer at the university’s spring commencement at Michigan Stadium.
She completed her undergraduate studies and first master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. Krystle currently works for the University of Michigan in the Office of University Development as part of the management team responsible for the university’s philanthropic campaigns and donor relations. Formerly, Krystle was Operations Manager in the University of Michigan Office of University and Development Events and was responsible for project management of nearly 200 university events and ceremonies annually.
