Katelyn Sherwood makes 1,000th point vs. Wayne Memorial

Belleville High School Girls Basketball had another member join the 1,000-point club this season, Katelyn Sherwood. She is only a junior and has already achieved this accomplishment. She scored her 1,000th point on March 7 versus Wayne Memorial in the first round of the MHSAA Regional Playoffs. Kate also had the game-winning steal and layup at the end of that game to send her team to the Regional Championship game, which they eventually lost in a hard-fought battle against Ann Arbor Huron.
