The Friends of the Belleville Area District Library are gearing up for the spring book sale on May 3 and 4 and would appreciate used book donations to help make the sale a success.
Adult, teen and children’s fiction in hardcover and paperback are currently in short supply. Romance and fantasy/sci-fi novels are needed the most. Also wanted are DVD’s, Blu-ray discs and audio books. All donations should be in good condition.
Not accepted are encyclopedias, VHS video tapes or Reader’s Digest condensed books.
There is a limit of three boxes of donations per library visit. The deadline for book-sale donations is April 30. A donation receipt may be obtained at the library circulation desk.
The Spring Fever Used Book Sale will be held at the Belleville Library, 167 Fourth St., on Saturday, May 3, noon-3 p.m. and Sunday, May 4, 1-4 p.m.
A pre-sale for members of the Friends of the Library will be held on Saturday, from 11 a.m. until noon. Membership forms may be obtained at the library, at the door on the days of the sale, or on-line at www.belleville.lib.mi.us .
