Robert Kristopher Stilson, 26, of Saginaw, was arraigned Friday in the 34th District Court for his alleged part in several crimes during an Oct. 31, 2014 private party at the Rollers Skate Park in Sumpter Township.
Sumpter Township Police Captain Eric Luke said Stilson was arraigned on a four-count warrant: one count of assault with intent to murder, one count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, one count of robbery-armed, and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault).
A probable cause conference is scheduled for Dec. 30 at 34th District Court and he is currently being held on $500,000/10% bond.
Stilson is alleged to have taken part in several separate incidents that night; including a stabbing, felonious assault, and the armed robbery of three separate security guards who were working the party. The stabbing victim, one of the three security guards involved, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but survived and has since recovered.
Stilson was taken into custody in Saginaw on Thursday after the vehicle he was in was stopped by the Michigan State Police for a traffic infraction. He was then transferred into the custody of the Sumpter Township Police Department late Thursday night.
Stilson was charged the same as two other individuals who were alleged to have taken part in the incidents with him. One of the other co-defendants, Ralph Rosas, also of Saginaw, was convicted of all but one of the charges by a Wayne County jury on Oct. 9, 2015, and is currently serving an 18.75 – 50 year prison sentence. The third co-defendant remains at large and is actively being sought.
