Kevin Laverne Rowley, Jr., 24, of Wayne was before 34th District Court Judge Tina Brooks Green on June 16 by zoom from the Wayne County Jail. A live exam was set for June 23.
Rowley is charged with driving off in a Belleville Police car on June 1. Besides unauthorized driving away of a motor vehicle, he is also charged with receiving and concealing a stolen motor vehicle.
Judge Green reduced his $5,000/10% bond to personal bond. She warned Rowley that he has to take his prescribed medication and nothing else and stay with his father, Kevin Laverne Rowley, Sr., who was present by zoom.

Nacole Lynn Booth, 46, of Sumpter Township, is charged with assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer on June 4 in Sumpter Township. She was before Judge Green on June 16 and her probable cause conference was adjourned until June 30. Her personal bond is $10,000.

The final conference for three defendants in the Jacqueline Elizabeth “Egypt” Covington murder case has been set for Sept. 14 before Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Wanda Evans at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice in Detroit.
Defendants Timothy Eugene Moore, Shandon R Groom, and Shane Lamar Evans have been held in the Wayne County Jail since they were arrested by the Michigan State Police last November and December. Egypt Covington was shot and killed June 22, 2017 in her home on Hull Road in Van Buren Township.
