On May 5, U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, D-MI, visited with the Belleville High School juniors in the New Tech program to discuss their “Witness to War” project.
They talked about veterans’ benefits and how to honor our heroes. The New Tech study included reading “All Quiet on the Western Front” by Eric Maria Remarque and learning about the World Wars. They heavily discussed the merits of war and tried to determine if war is worth the human toll.
