As of Saturday, Colin Jordan is back on his mail route in downtown Belleville. Jordan was seriously injured April 12 in a motorcycle crash that occurred after work in Belleville on his way to his Cement City home
He said he was in his full leathers with boots and helmet, riding his motorcycle on Textile Road, when two cars made left turns in front of him. He said he missed the first one and couldn’t avoid the second one. He said he dove down and bumped into a third car that was stopped, then he rolled 35 feet. He had a left shoulder separation and a torn ligament in his right thumb. The popular mail carrier delivers to the downtown Belleville area, mostly on foot, so he is well-known to city residents and businesses.
