In the April 5 edition of the Independent on page 18 we reported Kenneth Joseph Landstrom, 59, of Van Buren Township was sentenced to five days in the Wayne County Jail after being found guilty by a jury of the misdemeanor charges of lying to a police officer investigating a crime and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
These offenses took place in VBT on May 16, 2017.
On March 29, Judge Brian A. Oakley sentenced Landstrom to five days in jail, beginning at once, but he also sentenced him to eight days on the 34th District Court Work Program, attendance at a behavorial modification program through Pam’s Place or an approved agency beginning within 30 days, and to follow all recommendations with documents to the Probation Department. He also shall have no unsupervised contact with Juliana Rogers.
Landstrom also was fined $1,320 on the lying to a police officer charge and $670 for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is scheduled for 12 months of probation with review on March 29, 2019.
