Belleville High School Men’s Swimming and Diving team won the league meet last week end. Coach Aaron Lang said the meet was decided by 4 points.
“We were able to come on top by winning the last relay,” Lang said. All-League honors went to freshman Jack Haase; juniors Jacob Joanis and Lock Malfitano; and seniors Jack Gregg, Keegan Delaney, Sam Haase, Dillan Phan, and Devin Phan. Freshmen Jack Haase also qualified for Michigan High School Division 1 State meet in the 200 and 500 Freestyle.
“Any time you win a league meet with just a 4-point margin, the competition was fierce and we had to fight for every single point,” Lang said. “We didn’t have a lot of room for error, so this needed to be a near-perfect performance.”
