Belleville Area Women’s Club seeking candidates for woman’s scholarship

The Belleville Area Women’s Club is seeking candidates for its Georgia Badgett Memorial Scholarship.
This scholarship is specifically for a woman who is re-entering education to change or enhance her career. It is a $1,000 scholarship that can be used towards expenses incurred in pursuit of these educational goals.
The candidate must be a resident of Belleville, Romulus, Sumpter, or Van Buren Township. The application must be submitted no later than April 1, 2017. The recipient will be asked to attend one meeting at which time the award will be presented.
