Belleville Area District Library sets used book sale for Saturday, Aug. 3

“Escape to Paradise” and Read a Good Book!
The Friends of the Belleville Area District Library are having their summer used-book sale on Saturday, Aug. 3, noon to 3 p.m. in the library program room.
Members of the Friends of the Library will be admitted to a pre-sale at 11 a.m. Membership applications will be available at the door. New memberships after July 1, receive a free membership for 2020.
Book prices will be slashed to the following: adult hardcover books will be 3 for $1, trade-size paperbacks 3 for $.75 and regular paperbacks 6 for $1. Children’s hardcovers will be 6 for $1 and paperbacks 8 for $1. DVDs and CDs will be 2 for $1.
Special priced items will also be offered on a separate table.
Proceeds from the book sales fund the children’s summer reading programs and support the Fall Harvest Fest. This year the Friends also made a donation to pay for a Children’s Garden at the new library.
