The Friends of the Belleville Area District Library are offering the best prices of the year at the Beach Reading used book sale. This summer sale will take place on Saturday, Aug. 4, noon to 3 p.m., in the program room of the library.
Discount prices include: 6 paperbacks, 3 hard cover books, 2 coffee table books or 2 DVDs for $1. Children’s books will be marked down to 8 paperbacks or 6 hard-cover books for $1. Gift-quality books will be $1 each.
A special pre-sale for members-only happens at 11 a.m. New memberships will be a bargain, too. Any membership paid July through December includes free membership for 2019.
