Dr. Stefanie Howell, a clinical researcher in the Centre for Neuro Skills clinic in Dallas, TX, has been promoted to Neuroscientist. Dr. Howell holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience from George Mason University, and joined CNS in 2017.
She’s currently involved in three studies: long-term outcome and the effects of rehabilitation on vocational status / quality of life post-discharge, sleep disorders following TBI, and an imaging study focused on stroke patients and outcome differences between genders.
“I love seeing patients in the clinic,” she said. “I see the multiplicity of function of the brain, and how its plasticity can change outcome, with a patient’s hard work and dedication.”
Dr. Howell is the daughter of Cheryl and Kim Toms of Sumpter Township.
