When you lose someone unexpectedly, like a dear friend, a father, a husband, a son, a brother, or anyone close to you, it’s tough on everyone. Unfortunately, we’re all dealing with the sudden passing of Daniel Perez. He passed away on Tuesday Oct 25, at the age 53 while working at Dos Pesos, his family business in Belleville, MI.
We’re mourning the loss of a man with many talents and blessings in our community. We will all miss his wit, humor, laughter and smile. He was one of a kind.
Danny Perez was a devoted husband, father, a son, brother and dear friend to many. Melissa Perez, his lovely wife of 20 wonderful years, survives him. He’s a proud father of Daniela and Victoria; cherished son of Jesse and Esperanza of Belleville; dear brother of Jesus (Irene) Perez of Belleville, Louis (Ester) Perez of Florida and Andrew (Dolores) Perez of Brownstown.
Danny and Mela were very involved in sports as their daughters played volleyball, basketball, softball, golf and bowling. Daniela attends Concordia College and Victoria is in her senior year at Belleville High School.
We’d like to put together a memorial fund raising effort to help the Perez family pay for funeral expenses and to help with college expenses for both Daniela and Victoria.
Please consider making a donation to help this wonderful family deal with this unforeseen hardship. They have helped our community in so many ways and your generous contribution is needed.
Thank you and please keep the Perez family and friends in your prayers.

Although it is a sad situation I get tired of everyone looking for a handout. Help paying for the funeral? If you have children and don’t have life insurance than you are a moron. I pay $100 a month for a $900,000 term policy and I have no children. $100,000 go fund me, seriously?
