Verdeterre Contracting of Van Buren Township has been honored by being placed on the “Michigan 50 Companies to Watch.”
The recognition is by the Michigan Celebrates Small Business group to honor achievements of Michigan businesses with six to 99 full-time-equivalent employees who reach $750,000 to $50 million in annual revenue or working capital.
Verdeterre is located at 7994 Belleville Road and its Finance Executive Chris Brown is on the VBT Downtown Development Authority.
According to a news release from the VBT DDA congratulating the local business, Verdeterre’s sales have grown 9% over the past two years with a net income increase of 50%. Five new team members recently joined the company along with four state-of-the-art pieces of Caterpillar construction equipment.
To accommodate this significant growth, Verdeterre will soon double its current office space and add more team members.
Verdeterre attributes its impressive success to capitalizing on construction trends and building strong connections throughout the region, which allows the company to stay ahead of competitors.
