Marci LaFramboise, vice president of Friends of Michigan Animals Rescue based in Sumpter Township, announces that FMAR will earn funds through the “Walk for a Dog” Android and iPhone app.
FMAR supporters are encouraged to add WoofTrax.com to their devices and start walking their dogs for their shelter.
“I believe FMAR and Buster Foundation are both signed up to get $ just by uploading this new app to their phone, filling out their name, their dog’s name, a picture of the dog, and choose their shelter of choice,” LaFramboise said.
“When you are ready to walk you just click the start button and start walking! It tracks your mileage and speed. When you are done, just click stop until the next walk.”
The app says: “Every mile you walk, we donate to your local animal shelter.”
