Dale Biniecki, Republican
Dale Biniecki, 2390 Doty Rd., Monroe, is running for state representative in the 31st district.
He and his wife Reda have three children Angela, Jaye, and Hannah and grandchildren Charlotte, Liberty, Finn, and Stanly. He has lived in the district for all of his 69 years. He is a retired truck owner-operator. He earned an associate of science from Monroe Community College.
He ran unsuccessfully for the same seat in the Michigan House of Representatives.
He is a member of the Republican executive committees in Wayne, Monroe, Lenawee, and Washtenaw counties. He is a past 4-H leader, Michigan Farm Bureau member, and past president of the Maybee Sportsman Club. He enjoys gardening.
He said he is running “to represent the values of my friends, family, and neighbors and give them a voice in our government. I’m a husband, a father of three, and a grandfather of four. I am a lifelong resident of the 31st District and have put up with the nonsense for far too long. Enough is enough!
“As a truck owner-operator for 47 years I’ve been to stamping plants, steel mills, auto plants, road-building projects, and farms across Michigan. There is a disconnect between the hard-working folks that pay taxes and the bureaucrats that spent it. Politicians are spending millions of our dollars on special-interest pork while our infrastructure crumbles. We send too much of our hard-earned money to Lansing and they waste it. We’re getting ripped off!
“Even worse, the current legislature in the majority have approved nearly $12 billion in corporate welfare and $44 million in subsidizing the rent for people including immigrants.
“Prices have gone up while wages are stagnant. Our current legislature keeps taking our money and spending it in ways that hurt our interests.”
He explained his goals: “I’m not a career politician. My wife and I have been dues-paying union members for over 50 combined years. I will champion working Americans who want Michigan jobs, a strong economy, and a fair shake. I will work to stop the assault on our farmers who are the victims of outrageous state regulation. I plan to defend the rights of rural residents to maintain local zoning from state takeover.
“My greatest goal is to reign in the excessive spending of our state government. A budget that has increased from $64 billion to $83.4 billion in two years is totally unacceptable. Prosperity for my constituents and their children is my top priority.”

“I am running again for state representative because I believe that the government works best when focused on serving residents’ needs. There is no better example of that work than the new Van Buren Community Center we just opened in VBT. I will continue bringing that same level of service and commitment to HD-31 with passion.
“People across the state know that I listen and respect different points of view. As your state representative, I am inspired to continue serving in this seat because I am committed to helping those who live here thrive. My commitment to this area runs deep as I have dedicated my time to helping others for the past 28 years.
“As your hometown state representative, I will continue to be your voice and will bring forward the issues that matter most to you. I will continue to take a common sense approach to serving the hardworking taxpayers of our community by listening to their concerns. I will work hard for you because I have a passion for the work that I do as your public servant.”
Once elected, her top priorities will be to continue serving Michigan families, including: Education, environment, mental health, union support, affordable housing, transportation, seniors and veteran services, and protecting women’s reproductive freedoms.
“While in office I have leveraged my experience and knowledge and have brought in $40 million in state policy and district funding. Last year I brought in over $15 million which funded the Denton Road Bridge project, the Iron Belle Trail and for the wastewater treatment plant in Milan. I also just recently secured $750,000 in Belleville for the Horizon Park erosion issue. I also, secured additional funding for Van Buren Township, Sumpter, and Romulus. I have worked across the aisle to work not only with Democrats but with Republicans, too. I worked with a Republican colleague of mine just recently and we just got passed in both the House and Senate and headed for the Governor’s desk a bipartisan bill package that will fund our 4-H youth programs. Although I have many endorsements from organizations, elected officials, and community leaders, the best endorsement that I could receive is from you, the voter, in August and November. Please consider me for your hometown taste representative. I am the neighbor you can trust and a leader that you can count on.
