Bill Abraham brought his “Nightmare on Haunted Hill” trailer to the parking lot of the Sumpter Township Hall on Sept. 24 during the township board meeting. Before the meeting, people were able to walk through the trailer which featured animated creatures, including zombies and clowns, with flashing eyes and scary sounds.
He was promoting what he called a “family” film made in Sumpter Township based on a true story. The events are believed to have taken place on a Sumpter farm that is on an old Indian reservation on Oct. 30 and 31, 2009.
The film features retired Sumpter Supervisor Johnny Vawters, a Sumpter police officer, and many local teenagers. It is available to see at www.anightmareonhauntedhill.com at a rental cost of $4.99.
